Our New Design Center Goes Live: An Innovative Tool for Choosing Replacement Windows

We are very excited to announce the launch of our all-new online Design Center! This has been in the works for several months and we are so happy with how it turned out! We think it will be a great tool for people interested in replacement windows and doors for their San Diego homes, but who may have trouble visualizing how the different styles of windows will look in their type of home.

Our Design Center is easy to use, and in our opinion, kind of fun to play around with! To use it, you start by choosing the style of home that most closely resembles your own home. You can then customize the home by choosing the roof color and material, the exterior wall color and material, and the trim type and color. Next, you can choose from multiple window styles from our list of options and place them in the home. After that, you can add features like frame colors and grids to customize your design. It’s easy to make changes as you go and try out different options.

When the front elevation of the house is done, you can click on the tab that says “Back of House” and work on the configuration of windows and patio doors for the rear of your house. When you have a completed design that you’re happy with, you can either email it to yourself, print it, or share it on social media.

You won’t find a tool like this from any other independent replacement window dealer in San Diego. Some of the large, national window manufacturers have online tools that are designed to do the same type of thing, but none are as easy-to-use as our Design Center.

Creating a tool like this Design Center was a substantial investment for our replacement window company, but we wanted to give our customers one more way to learn about replacement windows and doors, in addition to all of the other resources already on our website. We know that some people don’t want to just read about windows and doors—they want to see pictures to get an idea of what new windows and doors can do for the look of their home and be able to look at various options all in one place.

We also know that not all of the people who visit our website are looking to buy replacement windows and doors today. They are still in the research phase and aren’t ready for an in-home consultation. Our Design Center tool is a way they can get familiar with the various window and door styles so they have an idea of what they want before meeting with one of our sales representatives.
