BM Windows Named Top Replacement Window Dealer by National Industry Publication

Door & Window Market Magazine is a publication you may not have heard of, but among those in the replacement window industry, it’s known as one of the top publications for things like industry news, information on innovations in window and door technology, and other important topics relevant to those who sell, install, and manufacture window and door products.

Every year, Door & Window Market Magazine publishes their list of the top widow and door dealers in the nation. BM Windows regularly makes the list, and this year was no exception. BM Windows was named one of the Top Door and Window Dealers for 2021!

The list is based on 2020 sales numbers. As you may recall, 2020 was an exceptionally unusual year. Many companies struggled to stay afloat, while others saw a boom in business. In the replacement window and door industry, many companies saw their revenues increase, as homeowners chose to spend money on home improvement projects, rather than on things like vacations and dining out.

Still, some home improvement companies struggled—particularly those that weren’t able to adjust to the ever-changing mandates and the supply chain issues that plagued the home improvement industry. Companies that relied on in-person interactions to bring in customers had issues as well. Fortunately for our company, we already had a strong online presence when COVID-19 hit. We don’t rely on door-to-door sales or tradeshows to bring in new business. Rather, we have a website that attracts new visitors every day, an active social media presence, and strong ratings and reviews on sites like Yelp and Google. This definitely helped us navigate the pandemic. We didn’t have to make a big shift in the area of sales and marketing (although we, of course, had to pivot in other areas during the pandemic).

As a result of a strong 2020, during which we were able to provide many San Diego homeowners with replacement windows and doors, we landed on the Top Door and Window Dealer list. We were ranked #139 on the national list. This is quite impressive, considering we only have one location. Some of the other replacement window and door companies on the list have upwards of 50 locations! We also ranked #45 on the list of dealers selling exclusively windows and doors.

We believe much of our success comes from the day-to-day way we run our business. We sell only high-quality replacement windows and have them installed by our own highly trained team of installers. We go above and beyond in the area of communication, and we place a high priority on customer service and customer satisfaction. Our owner is intimately involved in the operation of the company and holds all of the BM Windows employees to his high standards.
