BM Windows Named Best Window Contractor in San Diego

We were notified recently of a new award our San Diego replacement window company has received. BM Windows is happy to announce that our company was named “Best Window Contractor” in San Diego for 2022 by Industry Oversight.

Industry Oversight is a national organization that evaluates small businesses all over the country using a rigorous 150-point inspection process. They group businesses in each major U.S. city into 50 service categories, and post lists of the businesses that come out on top in their evaluations. Only a fraction of the businesses they review even meet the strict eligibility requirements to make their lists, and then only one business in each category is named the “Best.”

How Are Winners Determined by Industry Oversight?

In their evaluations, Industry Oversight looks at things like licenses and accreditations, customer reviews (and the credibility of those reviews), reputation (lack of complaints on the public registers), industry awards, what people are saying on industry forums, and more. Much of the data is gathered using AI technology, but the information is also reviewed by Industry Oversight’s team of experts before any awards are given out and posted on their website.

Unlike other websites that provide lists of service providers for consumers to read about and consider using, companies cannot add themselves the Industry Oversight website. Nor are they able to pay to advertise on the site. The only companies you will see on this site are those that have earned a spot through their excellence in their work and in customer service. In fact, the website addresses this directly in their FAQs. When asked if companies can pay to get “Best-Of” awards, they answer, “No. Our research team members are solely responsible for approving or rejecting participants based on comprehensive scoring formulas that assess each business’s essential features, weighting them according to their importance to consumers. That’s why only the best professionals can get ‘Best-Of’ designation. No company can ‘buy’ an award.”

When you go to the page, you’ll see BM Windows at the top, with the banner that reads “Best of 2022.”  You’ll also notice that our company received an overall score of 97 out of 100 and is ranked in the 99.6 percentile for reputation. By pretty much any standards, those are amazing scores, and we couldn’t be prouder! However, we also feel that those scores are well deserved. We work hard to provide amazing service to the San Diego customers we work with. We sell high-quality replacement window products and install them with expertise that we believe is unmatched in the San Diego area. We treat every customer like family and never use high-pressure sales tactics to try to make a sale.

We are not privy to all the information that Industry Oversight reviews in their evaluations, but it’s likely that they look at websites like Yelp, Google, and Facebook, where consumers often post reviews about their experiences with companies.
