Back in September, BM Windows launched a new website. The goal was to make it more user-friendly, especially for people using smartphones and tablets to research San Diego replacement window and door companies. The redesigned site is now fully mobile-responsive, making it convenient to use on any device. Earlier in the year, we also completely redesigned our logo. We wanted an icon that would speak to what we do. Our designer came up with the clever logo we now use that incorporates our initials in the window icon.

We competed at the 2015 MarCom Awards in web design, logo design, and blog writing categories. The MarCom Awards is a very well respected competition in the marketing and communication industry. We were competing with companies from all 50 states, as well as from 34 countries around the world. The competition received more than 6,500 entries in all!
Our new logo was named a Platinum Winner, the highest honor available in the competition. Out of all of the entries, which included entries from much larger companies, there were only six other Platinum winners in this category!
Our new website received two Gold awards (the second highest honor in the competition). One was in the Small Business Website category and the other was in the Business to Consumer Website category, which was for businesses of any size. Finally, we received an Honorable Mention for our blog writing (the one you are reading right now).
We are so honored to have received these awards. Even though we are in the replacement window and door industry and not the marketing and communication industry that MarCom celebrates, we have worked hard, alongside our marketing partner, to produce a website and sales materials that are not only helpful to consumers, but that also look great and function well.
