Like most houses built in the 80s, Mike’s home was definitely a good candidate for replacement windows and doors, even though the original windows appeared to be in good shape. Modern windows are much more energy-efficient than the windows that were commonly installed in homes 30 plus years ago, so replacing them is a smart investment when you consider the cost of heating and cooling your home over the long term. New windows also are much better for sound insulation—important for this particular customer, whose home backs up to a busy street. You’d be amazed at the difference new windows can make when it comes to keeping out unwanted noise from the outside!
In total, we installed seven replacement windows and a patio door in Mike’s Oceanside home. After the installation was complete, Mike filled out our Customer Installation Inspection Checklist and rated our installation crew as “Excellent.”
