We talk a lot on our website about energy efficiency in replacement windows and doors, as this is usually one of the main reasons people in San Diego choose to replace the windows and doors in their homes. But what about UV protection? How do you know if the replacement windows and doors you are purchasing will protect you and your home furnishings from the harmful effects of UV rays? The key to keeping UV rays out of your home is installing windows and glass patio doors with low emissivity glass (commonly known as Low E glass). La Mesa Customer Praises BM Windows Employees TJ and Carlos for a Job Well Done
We wanted to take time in this post to congratulate BM Windows team members TJ and Carlos, who recently received accolades from one of our customers, Debbie D. in La Mesa, who took the time to leave us a glowing 5-Star review on Yelp. Debbie called BM Windows because she needed to replace a sliding glass patio door in her La Mesa home. We sent TJ, one of our sales team members, to her home for the initial consultation. Debbie says that TJ “…helped me decide on the best door for our home. He was very conscious of the price and the quality while explain[ing] all of our options.” Just like Debbie observed, our sales team is very knowledgeable about the products we sell, and can let you know about the differences between the various lines of energy-efficient windows and doors we carry. …

The products must be ENERGY STAR certified, and they don’t necessarily have to be replacement products. For example, …

Casa de Luz serves the community’s children and families in need through community development, with one of their main goals being to keep families intact. In this area of Mexico, there are a significant amount of “economic orphans.” These are children who have at least one living parent, but those parents …
