We want to make it easy for you to get information on our site about our business and our replacement window and door products wherever you are! Blog – San Diego Replacement Windows and Doors
BM Windows Satisfies Another Escondido Customer
While we appreciate all of the positive reviews that our customers leave for us on review sites like Yelp, we were particularly thankful for a recent review we received from Jeff E. in Escondido. Jeff worked in the window replacement business for many years as both a salesman and an installer, so he knows the business and has seen it all when it comes to replacement windows and doors. In his Yelp review, he states that he has high expectations, given his background, but BM Windows was able to fulfill all of his needs. After listening to Jeff’s wish list of features he wanted in his replacement windows and doors, we recommended Anlin products for his home. We installed eight windows and two patio doors in Jeff’s home, and he couldn’t be happier with the product and the process. Jeff …
Update Your San Diego Home with Replacement Single Slider Windows
By far the most common type of replacement windows we install in San Diego are single slider windows. Single sliders have one fixed panel of glass and a second panel called the mobile sash, which slides horizontally to open on a track or in a groove. The mobile sash can slide either to the right or the left, depending on your preference. Single slider windows are similar to single hung windows, which also have one stationary and one movable panel. The difference is that you would use a single slider window in an area where you want or need a window that is horizontally oriented. You would use a single hung window when you have more limited horizontal space, but plenty of vertical space. Single sliders are an excellent choice for homeowners wishing to have a large horizontal view of the …
BM Windows Offers Military Discounts on San Diego Replacement Windows and Doors
At BM Windows, we love our members of the United States Military! And with multiple military bases near our San Diego headquarters, we have ample opportunities to show it. One way to show our gratitude is through the discount we offer to our service men and women. We know that members of the military aren’t in it for the money, but they do have the expenses of life just like the rest of us, which include home improvement projects like replacement windows and doors. If you are active duty or retired military, simply show us your military ID, and we’ll make sure you receive a discount on any replacement window or door purchase you make. It’s our way of saying “thank you” for all you do for our great country to keep us safe. So whether you are a Marine at Camp Pendleton, in the Navy …
No Problems, Despite Record Rainfall in San Diego
If you can’t remember a time when it rained more in July than it did this past July, that’s because it never has. The rainfall we saw in San Diego in July 2015 broke a record that had stood for more than 100 years! We also saw a record broken for the most rain in a single day in July, which happened on July 25th, breaking a record that had stood since 1902! Despite the record rain, BM Windows didn’t receive any calls about leaks on the replacement windows and doors we had previously installed for our San Diego customers. We did, however, get a call from a new customer who needed our help to repair leaky windows that had been installed by another local window company that is now out of business. We were happy to help them with the repair, and we hope we were able to gain a new, loyal …
